Jacob Van Steenwyk is a pastor, coach, husband, and father. With over a decade of ministry experience, including youth ministry, guiding churches through pastoral transitions, and developing renewal processes rooted in community engagement, Jacob brings a thoughtful and relational approach to leadership. He believes the local church’s greatest strength lies in embracing God’s unique call within its unique community.

Jacob holds a Master of Divinity and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry with a focus on church revitalization and community engagement. He is a foster and adoptive father of three, an triathlete, and someone who believes deeply that the best ministry is done shoulder-to-shoulder, not top-down.

Even with a great love for the local church, coaching football at the area high school, and training for triathlons, family is always first. Jacob and his wife, Malorie, have 3 kids, two dogs, and are always planning their next adventure. Being adopted himself, foster care and adoption are close to their hearts, and are part of their calling as a family.
